A Dilapidation Inspection Report Survey is to document the condition of a property adjoining the works prior to any demolition and commencement of construction.
A Dilapidation Report can also be conducted on completion of the works to document any changes that may have taken place to the Property during construction. Councils may request that you obtain a Dilapidation Report as part of their approval process for developments however we recommend that you have a Dilapidation Report done for your protection and for your peace of mind.
You may also consider having a Condition Report conducted of any Crossovers, Footpaths and Kerb & Channels outside the building site to document any damage to enable you to recover any Deposits/Bonds that may have been taken by the Council or simply to have proof in case of a claim.
